2001 Fairline Squadron

San Pedro, California

$395,000

This lightly used Fairline 55 Squadron spent the majority of her life in fresh water in the North California Delta, only arriving in Southern California in late 2021 under new ownership.

Her three staterooms, two-head layout, with spacious main salon, aft deck and flybridge is sleek and modern. The vessel rides on a deep V-hull that cruises at 25 knots and tops out at 30 knots, thanks to her twin CAT 3196TA 660 HP diesels with under 1500 hours. With over $250,000 of scheduled maintenance, repairs and upgrades over the last two to four years, My Way is ready for summer cruising.

Easily handled with a bow and new stern thruster, her newly rebuilt davit, new electronics, new flybridge enclosure and new swim platform stern rail will add to the experience of enjoying this well designed and executed, quality-built motoryacht. New cockpit decking, new boot stripe and a recent exterior detailing, present her as a much newer boat than a 2001. Many new interior soft goods, wall coverings, replacement wood soles in several areas, one new Vacuflush, four recently replaced refrigerator/freezers, a wine cooler, recently serviced air-conditioning systems, a true gourmet galley and a washer/dryer surround her owner and guests in well-appointed comfort and luxury.

Many mechanical systems have received thorough attention. Complete engine service as well as service or replacement of one shaft, both cutlass bearings, both stuffing boxes, both propellors, and both drive savers as well as fresh bottom paint. New Northern lights 15kw genset in 2018 has under 500 hours. Updated electrical system in 2019 with new chargers, batteries, and inverter.

My Way is an outstanding opportunity to purchase a well maintained and extremely clean yacht. LLC owned.

By appointment only please.

General Layout

My Way's elegant poise and purposeful lines make the Fairline Squadron a true beauty.

Note the curved aft doors and the unique, scooped shape of the side windows. Moving about the Squadron 55 is safe and easy. There's an internal staircase from the flybridge to the bridgedeck, and wide side decks forward or to the saloon and cockpit area.

The extra-long flybridge provides a spacious, open-air deck saloon which includes a semi-circular dining area with a bar, fridge, sink and barbecue griddle. With direct access by way of the internal stairway, or from the cockpit up the teak-tread ladder, this is a favorite part of the boat for owners and guests alike.

At the stern, comprehensive amenities for aft boarding and swimming have been made possible by the design of the large, extended bathing platform and a hot and cold transom shower are also found here.

The spacious and relaxing aft saloon includes a large and sociable semi-circular seating area, an elegant flat screen TV and a comprehensive bar. The separate dining area is on the bridgedeck, with excellent visibility through the main screen and side windows.

The central, low-level galley, equipped to the highest standard, also has easy access to the well-fitted utility room complete with a wine cooler. There is also a very convenient internal access door to the engine room from the utility room.

Guest accommodation is extensive as well as beautifully appointed. There's a master suite forward and two twin-bedded guest cabins, plus two large washrooms with separate circular shower enclosures.
